What is the best class in Dungeon Quest Reborn?
No verified S-tier sheet yet. Pick Physical or Spell to match how you clear early dungeons, then re-evaluate after upgrades.
Dungeon Quest Reborn classes are safest as Physical vs Spell build paths — not a locked four-class character select copied from old Voldex Dungeon Quest. Tutorial and early sessions surface spell power abilities, physical power abilities, and weapon stats; community leveling guides then tell you to dump skill points into the axis you wear. Tank and Healer remain community roles for co-op until Reborn ships verified fixed class IDs. Verified August 23, 2026. Play on Roblox.

Physical leans weapons and close-range clear speed. Spell leans abilities / mage weapons for range and self-sustain tools. Neither path is a permanent locked “class card” in verified Reborn docs — your points and gear decide what you play like.

| Path | Focus | Early goal | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Physical | Weapons · close range · Physical power | Clear Temple packs fast | Community warrior-style — verify labels |
| Spell | Abilities · range · Spell power | Burst + optional self-heal sets | Community mage-style — verify labels |
| Tank role | Stamina / taunt utility (community) | Hold aggro in co-op | Optional party job |
| Healer role | Healing abilities (community) | Keep the party alive | Optional party job |
If you like standing in packs and swinging, start Physical. If you like ability rotations and range, start Spell. You can migrate later when drops favor the other path — see the switch section — but day-one splits feel weak.
There is no verified Reborn S-tier class sheet on this wiki yet. A finished Temple clear on one path beats theorycrafting Greg builds from OG PAA snippets.
Community leveling guidance for Reborn: spend skill points into the path you are using. Mage players put points into Spell Power so abilities deal more damage; Physical players invest the mirror. Tutorial UI already separates spell power abilities from physical power abilities — treat that split as the real “class” system until proven otherwise.
| If you wear… | Put points into… | Upgrade axis… |
|---|---|---|
| Spell / mage weapons & abilities | Spell Power | Spell-side weapon/armor upgrades |
| Physical / warrior weapons | Physical Power | Physical-side upgrades |
| Hybrid “a bit of both” | Neither hits hard early | Avoid until you have a plan |
Community gamepass notes mention free stat resets as a VIP-adjacent QoL. If you bought that pass, respeccing is cheap — still commit between resets. Verify live store text on VIP.
Community HUD notes describe two spell sets swapped mid-fight (often F): damage set vs heal set. That is a Spell-path survival pattern, not a separate Healer class unlock. Learn the swap before Hardcore.
Treat Tank and Healer as party roles built from stamina, guardian-style armor, taunts, and heals — language that often arrives via OG Dungeon Quest wiki bleed. Reborn public evidence currently supports Physical vs Spell damage paths more strongly than four locked class IDs.
| Role | What communities mean | Reborn status |
|---|---|---|
| Tank | Hold aggro, high stamina, guardian armor | Community role — verify abilities in-game |
| Healer | Healing abilities, keep party alive | Community role — may overlap Spell path |
| Warrior | Physical damage dealer | Map to Physical path |
| Mage | Spell damage dealer | Map to Spell path |
Your first Temple clears do not require a Tank. Clear-speed Physical or Spell is enough. Add utility only when you regularly co-op difficult bosses.
Self-heal spell sets help solo Spell players survive Hardcore. Full party healer kits are a different conversation — confirm ability names in Reborn before farming an OG heal sheet.
Pair the three gear hubs to one path. Hybrid mid-game is possible when drops force it, but early sessions should look coherent: warrior weapon + physical armor + physical abilities, or mage weapon + spell armor + spell abilities.

| Slot | Physical path | Spell path | Hub |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon | Warrior-style / Physical damage | Mage-style / Spell power | weapons |
| Armor | Warrior / Physical sets | Mage / Spell sets | armor |
| Abilities | Physical skills | Spells + optional heals | abilities |
| Upgrades | Physical axis Gold | Spell axis Gold | upgrading |
Community beginners are told to equip useful drops even if they nudge you toward the other path — then re-allocate skill points to match. Sitting on an empty inventory waiting for a perfect legendary name is worse than a clean Medium clear.
Chase lists that only exist on OG Fandom (Desert Wrath, Winterborne, Eden’s Reaper, etc.) stay community / bleed until they appear in your Reborn inventory. Farm Desert Temple and Winter Outpost for live drops instead of spreadsheet cosplay.
Matched by build plan, shared topics, and guide progression — not random related links.
Yes in community practice: skill points can be redirected when your drops favor the other path. Example pattern from leveling VODs — a player finds mage items, moves points into Spell Power, and continues. Exact reset costs without gamepasses stay TBA.
Reborn does not appear to permanently lock you out of the other path in public footage. The real cost is wasted Gold on the old axis and a few awkward clears while you relearn ability timing.
Moving from solo Spell DPS to party Healer may need different abilities and armor. Confirm those tools drop in your unlocked dungeon tier before you promise a friend you can heal Nightmare.
Often OG bleed. Google PAA “best class” answers and Fandom Warrior/Mage/Guardian pages describe the older Voldex ecosystem. Reborn is inspired by that loop, but labels, skill trees, and set names can diverge. Mark anything you cannot see in Place 77649408247578 as Community Reported.

Desert Temple and Winter Outpost exist in both eras. That does not mean Guardian set breakpoints or old skill point caps are identical. Measure your own panel.
When you post a build question in discord.gg/dqr, include Place ID and a skill/gear screenshot so helpers do not answer with OG muscle memory.
Use this mid-page decision table once, then farm. Revisit only when your inventory clearly shifted.

Path chosen → points allocated → gear hubs opened → first Temple clear → Hardcore only when stable. Skip tier-list arguments until that checklist is green.

Not as a confirmed locked roster. Prefer Physical vs Spell paths; treat Tank/Healer as community roles until verified.
Community sessions show path switches via skill points; some gamepasses advertise free stat resets. Confirm the live store.
OG sources often said class does not gate item drops — still verify in Reborn. Equip what drops, then match points to the gear.
Ability roster stub: abilities. Farm early dungeons and pair spells to your path.
